'K' Marstal litter - MARSTAL ROTTWEILERS

The exceptional litter was born on 8 May 2005 - last breeding of our NESKA - one of the best breeding females in the history of Polish rottweilers (have a look at her offspring from the previous litters). This time, she was bred to a young, beautiful stud dog in Germany - FILOU vom Rauberweg.

Although we have 2 boys only, both are very powerful with promissing "blocky" heads.

The choice of a suitable stud dog is always a tough decision, but this time the responsibility was even greater as we were choosing a father of the last NESKA'a litter. As usual, we were taking into consideration only dogs from Germany, because we believe that the breeding selection in this country is of highest quality and only rottweilers with excellent character and good-looking are qualified, whose ancestors are free of dysplasia many generations backward.

As far, we were pioneers when choosing a stud dog and we have always used to choose young dogs, only beginning their career (and indeed they made a career later on !). That is why we decided to stick to our tradition and also this time we picked a young, very promissing rottweiler - FILOU vom Rauberweg.

FILOU has all the features we expect from an excellent rottweiler. He is powerful, strong-boned with beautiful head, dark eyes (1b) and dark lips and gums pigmentation. His perfect ZTP report is the best proof of his beauty:

"Desired size, harmonious, athletic, impartial, attentive, strong bone, nice powerful, head, medium sized, well-carried ears, short, broad, full muzzle, black lips and gums, deep, wide and well-shaped chest, well adjacent elbows and shoulders, outstanding top and bottom line, firm back, front and rare legs very well set, angulated and muscled, tail naturally hanging, strong coat, clear, redbrown markings, free movement, good action." Although during last show season FILOU was shown only a few times, he was always placed in the top four and also became a Brandenburg Jugendsieger '04. First shows this year brought great wins of FILOU -1st place in the class, a certificate for German championship and also Best Male title (MOL-Sieger '05) + certficate for ADRK championship at the Special Show in Altlandsberg, and 2 weeks later - 1st place in the class with a certificate for Austrian championship at the Club Show in Wien.

Apart from this, we like FILOU's pedigree a lot. We were particularly impressed with beauty of his mother - MONA von Ostsachsen - ADRK Youth Club Winner and Youth German Winner in 1999. FILOU is a grandson of 2 famous "von der Scherau" dogs: Interchampiom, ADRK Club Winner '98 CHAMP v.d. Scherau (from his father side) and Inter./Multichampion BEN von der Scherau (from his mother side). He continues both: show bloodlines (e.g. "vom Obergrombacher Schloss) and working bloodlines (e.g. "vom Herrenholz"). Last but not least, the combination of FILOU and NESKA makes a light inbreed (4-5) on a famous couple - BEA v.d. Teufelsbrucke and BENNO v.d. Schwarzen Heide through their 2 famous sons: NESKA - granddaughter of FALCO von der Teufelsbrucke, FILOU – great grandson of FERRO von der Teufelsbrucke.

Another advantage of FILOU was the fact that either he or his father - BRUTUS and also 3 of FILOU's brothers and sisters (x-rayed as far) are free of hips and elbows dysplasia (HD/ED "-"). All other ancestors of FILOU have also no dysplasia (HD "-" or "+/-").

Finally, this very important for us advantage of FILOU - excellent character. He is simply a stabil, open and friendly dog. He passed obedience exam (BH) and now, he finishes more advanced training - VPG. What has convinced as to FILOU is his very good result of ZTP (e.g. the most desired "full, calm, hard grip").

NESKA proved her highest quality as a breeding female in her 3 previous litters with 3 different stud dogs, thus we believe that her last litter with FILOU will be so exceptional.
